Today = Polling Day! This will be my 2nd voting experience. Somehow i felt so much difference.
Probably becos my thoughts are different now, and perhaps external factors plays a part too. Really feel much more politically interested pple have sprout out from nowwhere. Everyone seems interested into politcal matters.
Issues regards to nation-building, community woes seems so important to everyone. And other than those coffeeshop uncle talks -sometimes baseless - internet plays a BIG part. Really BIG.
Many more friends seems very inclined into political matters. Views and comments flying all around. But i like some of their views. Those points somehow did give me new dimensions of thoughts. Of course, I still hold my point in some principles.
Without doubt - the oppositon parties are much stronger this time round. Candidates are more capable in paper terms - educated, interested and talk more sense.
With so many new politcally inclined people coming out to show themselves, hopefully it signals a new pathway for the people to analyse and decide.
Whether the type of lifestyle we had - has been comfortably accepted by the people, and we should continue it that way. Or going for a different form of politics - where more people have the chance to question, and provide the foundation for what maybe a different era and leadership in maybe 10yrs time.
