Yep - it has begun..
The stepping up action has started .. with my new position...a new role..

I can almost feel the invisible responsibility instantly..

1st task - Record breaking interviews...
Well, some pple might know that i badly need more pple at my branch..
cannot understand why there isnt many pple whom seem that can work..
those that came had all kinds of problems..

We seek help from HQ and was assisted with a newspaper ad that "invited" pple to come for interview...
The thing is i was only told at the last minute..
Becos such things has to be co-ordinated properly..
with a place to conduct interview..questions to asked...holding area..blah blah..
Next bomb was when boss say : " ....we will conduct the interviews ourself..HQ is not sending pple here..."

Kaozzz...Meaning i guess i have to do it myself liao lo..
Becos bulk of the vacancies are from my dept..
I dun mind doing it..just that should have prepared me ma...
So i had to stay in office from 9-12pm straight...(the duration of the walk-in interview period)

And i set my personal record...
8 interviewees in 3hrs...Wabiang...
Sounds easy right...Imagine repeating the same old questions and replying their usual questions...
Pay..Offs...Benefits...Working Hrs...Days...Blah blah..

If all are ok nvm..the whole 3hrs..
probably only 2 can make it...
each interview takes about 15-20mins...
Calculate how much time i wasted..thanks..

Haha..this is retail - so ever "funny" ...
i like the job becos sometimes we have stupid things and pple to deal with..
1001 kinds of stories...situations...scenarios...

The 1st wk of my new role...is sure interesting..
New things are..dealings with Town Council, Landlord, Finance.....
at least for now...
Suddenly i am accountable for up to 105 staffs..directly and indirectly..
